HAIYERRRRRR. suckss. having lost my passbook for 1plus year, i was totally convinced i would never be able to find it. and finally, i went down today to get a new one after sooo long. and i paid 15bucks for it.

i found it deep under the basket in my drawer when i was searching for sth in my drawer just now. KILL ME. im such a loser at finding things. ive been searching my drawer like millions of times. SCREAMS.
for someone in dire financial state to spend a freaking 15bucks meaninglessly is ...... EXASPERATING.

ten thousand posts. okay make that 13000 posts (hahaha) were supposed to be made but procrastination killed them all! anw, im in ME YEAR 3 now. omgoshh. took part in many activities before sch started officially. engin camp, oweek (I LIKE IT!!!!!!) and yuppp, worked in kiehl's for a month too.
have i complained that my modules this sem are really truly horrendous? really provokes deeep thinking ah. ive been going in and out of the lib q often and i can safely conclude that im totally INEFFICIENT. a great eg would be now. i took a break for the past 1 hour already.
i think ive been having too much fun lately. hahahaha been watching movies much more as compared to the last few sems, savouring so much more delicacies (YAYY!!!!), laughing as much as i was in year 1.. basically i think im just trying to value everyone and everything more before i leave next year. BUT, TIME TO BUCK UP!!!!
anw, been hearing so much abt breakups and get-togethers. "when one door closes, another one opens" just keeps rattling in my mind. yuppp so i hope all my dearest frens out there.. just BE HAPPY!!!!! i'll intro good single men/women to you when need be or when the time is ripe okay!!!! hehehe. ((:
but anyhow, i think all of us ought to feel more and think more w their hearts. conscience. guide your actions instinctively w goodwill. im learning too. all of us should!!!
on a sidenote.. caught wall E last night! hahahaha it's really q funny. esp the fat-looking-hotdogs-lookalike. OMGOSH. n how they gasped and looked SOOO amazed when the captain could actually stand up. HAHAHA.

ZHI's LOVELY 21st!
A VERY HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY TO DEAREST ZHI! (((: her birthday was sweeeet. held at grandeur park condo beside AJ. the theme was stripes! n seriously, almost everyone turned up in stripes. how cutee is that! zhi looked so sweet n pretty in her dress n her hair was soo nicely done up! so anw, the hockey girls went earlier to help zhi do up the deco in the function room. the food was goood too. the music was nice n there were also games! n i guess we were the noisiest there, cheering all the time when we get the "do you know zhi well enough?" questions RIGHT! AND WE WON EVENTUALLY!!!!!! beating all her cousins, relatives n other frens to that. heheheh. so proud of us.

just a side note, someone told me to get down from yck mrt station n said the condo is of walking distance (meaning VERY VERY NEAR) but it was totally the opp. i went down to zhi's party str8 after my tr8 n was lugging a HUGE BAG n in my tube top n in my HIGH heels n in the end, i walked like for at least 30min. n yes, so i perspired like a pig n looked totally unglam when i reached. zhi's fren had to come n pick me up cus i got lost too. i think my hockey girls are really lousy at giving directions!!!! hahahaha.

chee's farewell
hockey sweethearts met up again today for chee's farewell! (((: n yes, azra n ari came along too! act chee would only be going away for abt 2mths plus to america for some NUS work n travel programme. it sounds like dam fun laaaa!
so anw, we ate at manhattan fish market. it's my first time there n so i was a lil stunned when ari phoned me up to meet at ".....the fish market." hahahaha apparently i didnt catch the word "manhattan". n they're sooo nice to help me order some grilled fish rice first so i can jus feast on it when i arrive! all of us shared some two sets of huge seafood platter or sth. YUMYUM. reminds me of fish n co tho.
this looks like 10000 calories. hahahaha
anw, we REALLY love to take photos.

A REALLY HAPPY 21st!
im officially 21. 29th april. i was lying on my bed thinking of all the lovely things that happened to me all my years. i just feel so blessed n fortunate. so actually, a birthday is a thanksgiving day too. I LOVE MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!!!! thank you to each n everyone of you who left a print in my heart n taught me how to live n enjoy every single moment. thank you to everyone who has been there for me n spending precious time w me. n to me, birthday is the day when i ought to learn to appreciate my mum even more cus she breathed life into me 21 years ago.

- when the clock struck 12, many frens came over to hide in my room n pasted greetings on my wall. lining, edmund, jielun, pam, sara1, sara2, jing, xx, aini, maria hid in my room n closed the lights. vv sweet but i saw it through.. the only surprise was that edmund came over from sheares. hehh. cus lining didn’t know how to act.. n jielun forbade me from bathing til it was abt 12. hahahaha n when i got back from my bath, there were MANY slippers outside my room. n lining didn’t allow me to get back to my room immediately after i finished bathing.. so fishy.. hahaha BUT still vvv touched! they sang me the first bdae song n i had a bdae brownie! then lining n the rest of my level mates went back to their studies (since it’s amidst the exams.. my gosh.) while jielun, edmund n i went to fongseng to eat n catch up. ya thank goodness my next paper is in 2days time! so still got abit of time to relax.. hehh.
- then i spent my morning trying to study but my mind was jus drifting about n totally not focusing at all. hahaha jus kept thinking abt relaxing n celebrating after the exams or simply jus reflecting on my life (OKAY SO PHILOSOPHICAL). heh but around
- then i had to rush out cus chee was rushing me out to meet zhi at vivo. (usu zhi, ari, chee n i would celebrate each other’s bdaes after we entered uni.) so i quickly got a change of clothes n rushed out w chee. ha we gave up on queuing for the the free ben n jerry cone’s day. but jus to mention, i thot it was q cool that chee n i were the last in queue jus 1 min before 7pm when the queue has to stop extending. anw, we hurried over to sushi tei to meet zhi n there she was, all smiling from ear to ear n awaiting our arrival. n as i was walking briskly over to the table, “SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” rang into my right ear. then audrey, mun, ching n bel popped out from the right corner behind some curtains!!!! OMGOSH i was stunned for perhaps 5secs? hahahaha n then i couldn’t stop laughing n screaming out “IM SO TOUCHED!!!!!!!” we’ve not met up ever since we graduated from j2 n so this surprise really really meant a lot a lot to me. oh yea, ari didn’t join us cus she has her exams the next day. (talking abt it, ari still owes me a bdae card!!!!! hahahahaha) but seriously, it was really a foolproof surprise. so i was really really xcited n happy!!!!! heh heh heh. n they surprised me w their entrance of a chocolate cake from bakers inn too by stuffing it right before my eyes when i turned my head. COUNTDOWN to 2008!
woots. another year has passed. ive been in uni for 3 semesters! omgosh. this year's slightly more special cus i counted down w huili, yihui n jan! the rest couldnt join us but im glad we met! a brand new year ahead w my dear team mates. :D
anw, we met up in chinatown to have dinner at swensens. WHAT A FEAST OKAY! we ate like superrr a lot we couldnt move our butts. hahahaha yes they said new year resolutions to slim down will only start after the clock strikes 12. i happily agreed. heheh. (((:
then, we tested jan's driving w her sending us to turf club to return her car. somehow, we got lost in the carpark. HAHA. thankfully we found out way out n walked all the way to the fifth avenue's bus stop. my suggestion received no violent objections n we headed to woodlands to watch fireworks! but poor jan was soooo tired she fell aslp almost immediately on the bus ride. (actually, she didnt join us in welcoming year 2008 too cus she went home to concuss first. aiyo.) so there was only me, yihui n huili left! too bad weijing couldnt make it else SOMEONE would have been really overjoyed. HEHE.

RAGGERS REUNITED !
engin rag dancers 0607 were reunited at clara's house today at 42 kim yam road. wat details. bao n i will alws remember that.. cus we got LOST. lost in many many ways!
1. both of us cant remember what's the exact address.
2. worst, both of our hps went FLAT.
3. what's more, we cant remember clara's no. or ANY of the dancers' nos. (okay act i did rmb matt's no, but he didnt pick up the phone!)
4. we dropped off at the wrong bus stop and ended up walking ten zillion miles.
5. since our hps batt went flat, they couldnt contact us.
BUT! due to fantastic memory of rmbing certain tel nos, we were finally deemed contactable. hahahaha. alright, so i contacted bob phui n he got us sara's no.
on a funny note, we even resorted to me laughing very loudly downstairs at her apartment hoping that they would notice my distinct laughter that SQ IS HERE. hahahahaha
anw, bao n i made pseudo baos for potluck. hahahaha apparently it's q cheapskate but it was all in the name of fun la! we bot mini burger buns n put some filling inside. then wrote BAO, MUN TOU.. using food coloring on the buns. to think they looked soooo expectant of our arrival cus words spread until they got a false impression that we're literally MAKING the baos. trust me, they looked DAM EXCITED when we arrived. hahahahaha omgosh it made us feel so bad.
n ya, my frens are STUNNERS. sudd ten thousand pple around me got attached! ive merely not talked to them much for errr. 2 weeks? hahahaha but ohh well, happy for them! love is in the air. :D

it took me long.
but i finally understood what xiaoling meant when she told me all the time in ny that she hates changes.
tho im really q optimistic,
ive to agree (now) I HATE CHANGES.

had q a lot of activities lined up for today! it had been a FABULOUS day having fun w my floorballers n bengines! havent gotten a proper outing for this whole hols man. so ya really happy that i got ONE free day like that to play!!!
saints match at RP
firstly, it was supporting the guys match at RP. RP is like so near my house so of cus i didnt mind going all the way down to support them. (at the xpense of my beauty slp tho.. hahahaha) anw they won 12nil or 12-1 i think. but howchong wasnt v happy cus the guys were supposed to give a clean sheet against the vs boys. okay la indeed saints have much more than it takes to give a clean sheet yea. but ohh well a victory still deserves a celebration! (((:

secondly, a few of us were invited to jan's hse for lunch! howchong drove me there! w lots of complaints tho. hahahaha. but anw they cooked so much delicious food that i ate so much la! YUMYUM! goodness. esp all the kuehs. ohh my. OH WAIT. ive not said why we were invited yet. hahahaha it's the highlight la! anw we were there to congratulate n celebrate jan's GRADUATION!!! so swt n nice of her to invite us over! there were so many pple at her hse to bask in the festive joy! ohhh n of cus we took lots of photos! hehe.

it has been LONG since i last had a gathering w bengines! i was soooo looking forward to seeing them! met at glasshse fish n co to have dinner tgt. saw ching n chris on the way so we went tgt from ps. the weirdest thing was that ching had to buy HER bdae cake herself w us! ?!?!?!! nonsensical right. ohhh well but it's okay right since we bot her such a nice present! hehe. hmmm. caught up q abit n oh yes! bob is attached le!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY FOR HIM!!!!!!!! super cute la. he's totally radiant n beaming from ear to ear la. so xing fu! hahahahaha. :D :D :D but anw, lihui n ig went to queue up for 48 donuts from donut factory for all of us! but obviously, we cant finish them esp after our meal at fish n co.. so in the end we only ate abt one each n the rest were brought back by the bdae babies-- ig, lihui n ching! the fish n co pple came over to sing bdae songs for them too! ha w party hats somemore la.
